In this Episode:

We follow the Sydalian thief-catcher Abigail Darven as she elicits Major Hoskins’ assistance in tracking down Mother Razzia’s murderer.

We discover something of Auryn’s home life and meet his mom. Auryn discovers that, in order to get a chance to dance with (and, potentially, marry) the love of his life, Corinne, he will need to pay proper respects to his father.

We also realize that the Valiste Verana’s language is extremely ornate.

We listen to Peter and Raven have a discussion about the unauthorized use of poison.

Finally, Auryn’s father reads the Fortuna cards and finds out important information about an ancient enmity returning to the fore.

Easter Eggs

For those of you who have played in one of my Cora-Ni games, be on the lookout for some easter eggs put in specifically for you.

Question of the Week

I had someone ask me about the difference between the Wunjo, the Valiste Verana, and the Gypsies - and really, there is no difference. They are a very descriptive people, and they have many names for themselves. The Wunjo reference is to “The People of Joy,” the Valiste Verana is “the Tribe of Valiste, the First Father of the People”, and of course, Gypsy is a Trade term which developed as a corruption of “eigepti”, an Amishkan word meaning “the first People.”

But that was probably more than you wanted to know. If you do want to know more, check out the ever-expanding Magical Country Wiki at http://magicalcountry.com/tw/
